Gray Area

The hues that top the list in terms of the most popular siding colors this year are warm neutrals, such as taupe, greige (gray and beige), soft sand, and soft lavender gray.

“Warm neutrals give any home an inviting and cozy look, but also evoke elegance and timelessness,” Wendy said.

Neutrals are a great choice for many, as they are versatile shades and can blend in with an array of surroundings, especially in suburban and rural spaces. Another benefit is that these tones reflect heat, keeping a house cooler in the summer months.

Green with Envy

“With the growing desire to connect to nature, earthy greens like olive, sage, and deep forest are popular hues,” Wendy said. “They automatically focus our minds on sustainability and the environment.”

These green tones give homeowners a sense of calm and peace. They also complement the landscaping while allowing a seamless transition between the home and the outside scenery.

Feeling Blue

Whether in a modern or traditional home, blue shades like navy, slate, or midnight blue add depth, mystery, and sophistication without overwhelming the outside of the home. For an even more unique look, consider opting for a misty blue, which could bring charm to the home.

“Deep blues are forgiving when it comes to dirt and grime, so blue siding becomes a more practical choice when it comes to maintenance,” said Wendy.

Paint the Town Red

Red will never go out of style, and some homeowners opt for shades like brick red, terracotta, burgundy, or even plum.

“The feeling red siding gives a home is two-fold,” Wendy said. “It screams elegant, bold, and energetic, but it is also an inviting, warm, and traditional color.”

Black Tie

While perhaps peculiar, black has also become a trendy siding color. It gives drama to houses of various styles, from contemporary to classic.

“Black exudes confidence,” said Wendy. “If black siding is paired with light accent colors, it can make a home look sleek and modern.”

Two Tones

While one-color siding is classic, a common practice in 2025 has become breaking monotony and choosing a combination of hues.

“This option creates depth and visual interest, and it also gives the homeowner a chance to display a little bit more of their personality,” Wendy said.

Most homes that pull off this trend well have light upper siding and dark lower siding, such as a light gray atop a dark one, white on top and navy on the bottom, or taupe above an earthy green.

Enjoy Peace Of Mind

The only complaint I have is when I have J&B do my roof in another 30 years or so, is Dave their sales man (a great guy) would not guaranty I could get the same great crew I had this time. They did a fantastic job. Much better than the last roofing company did. A nice bunch of guys. Did a very nice job cleaning up. I'd give them 10 stars but 5 is the limit. If you need a roof done this is the company you want to do it. One more point I need to make. The guys that did the chimney flashing are artists. I went up on the roof when they were done and was very pleased with not only the roofing job but the sculptured sheet metal work. It's kind of a shame it's on the roof and not hanging on the family room wall :). You get the point. Hire em. You'll like em.

When the time came to begin the project, the team that showed up was friendly, professional and timely in getting the project done. We had work done by the J&B team at a commercial property and were very pleased with the whole process. Their estimator met us onsite and communicated with us every step of the way. They went over the scope in detail and the work performed exceeded what we were expecting. They found some additional concerns during the installation that were quickly addressed and communicated to us and to our surprise, there was not an additional charge. Our tenants reached out to share how respectful the employees were during the installation and how clean everything was left afterwards. As the project was wrapped up, we were walked through the completion paperwork and provided the warranty information. Very impressed with the professionalism of this company and would not hesitate to refer their services or use them again in the future.
